Sathorn, Bangkok — May 2025
My mother and I had reached a point where every conversation about the family home ended the same way — voices raised, door closed. The Reconnecting Conversation session gave us a structure we hadn't had before. The facilitator didn't take either side. She just held the frame and let us talk. We didn't resolve everything in one afternoon, but we actually finished a conversation for once, and we had a written summary that stopped the usual pattern of "you said, I said."

Sukhumvit, Bangkok — May 2025
We're a British-Thai household and finding support that understood both sides of our dynamic wasn't easy. Mendwell got it. The Communication Habits Workshop produced a one-page guide that we've referred back to several times since. I'd say it was worth more than several times its cost in avoided arguments. My only note is that I wish the workshop had been slightly longer — we could have used another half hour at the end.

Silom, Bangkok — June 2025
After my father passed, my three siblings and I needed to coordinate a great deal practically — the family business, the property, various accounts — while also managing our grief. Mendwell came in not as a legal or financial advisor but as a coordinator. They held the schedule, took notes, made sure quieter voices weren't talked over. Three months later we had a much clearer picture and a document that every sibling signed off on. That alone was something I had not thought possible six months earlier.

Bang Rak, Bangkok — June 2025
Very professional. Very calm. We were a four-person household with two generations under one roof and the kind of tension that builds up over years without anyone quite naming it. The single session didn't fix everything — I don't think anything would have done that in an afternoon — but it gave us a language to start using. The written summary was accurate and fair to everyone's position. I recommended Mendwell to my colleague last month.

Thonglor, Bangkok — May 2025
I was sceptical going in. I'm usually sceptical about anything that involves sitting in a room talking about feelings. But Mendwell positioned it as something much more practical — a coordination session, not a therapy session. The facilitator focused on decisions and documentation rather than emotions. That made it much easier for me to engage. We left with notes. That was the part I hadn't expected and the part I found most useful.

Ari, Bangkok — June 2025
The Ongoing Programme has been genuinely useful for our family. We have members living in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and one in Singapore, so coordinating anything takes real effort. Nanthawan kept the log, chased responses, and prepared everyone for each check-in. The three months felt well-paced — not rushed, not dragged out. At the end we had a full record and a handover pack that now lives in our shared folder.
Three family journeys in detail
A multigenerational Bangkok household
Reconnecting Conversation — April 2025
The challenge
An elderly mother and her two adult daughters had stopped speaking directly to each other about the family home. Decisions were being made indirectly, through third parties, causing resentment on all sides. One daughter contacted Mendwell after a year of escalating tension.
What Mendwell did
A Reconnecting Conversation session was arranged with all three parties. The facilitator structured the session around three specific topics the family agreed on in advance. Each person spoke without interruption; the facilitator ensured equal time.
What followed
The written summary allowed the family to agree on two immediate practical decisions. One of the daughters described it as "the first time in two years we finished a conversation." The family later booked a Communication Habits Workshop.
"I didn't think all three of us would agree to come. Getting the written summary by email the next day meant we couldn't reinterpret what had been said."
An expat family with a teenage child and two cultures
Communication Habits Workshop — May 2025
The challenge
A British father, Thai mother, and their seventeen-year-old son were struggling with communication across cultural expectations around directness, hierarchy, and decision-making. The son felt unheard; the parents felt undermined.
What Mendwell did
The half-day Communication Habits Workshop explored the different communication styles at play without assigning blame to any of them. The family produced a written guide with four agreed habits — including a weekly fifteen-minute check-in format the son helped design.
What followed
The family reported using the check-in format for two months after the workshop. The son noted that having contributed to the guide made him more willing to follow it. The follow-up call confirmed the family was applying the habits independently.
"The guide is on the fridge. It sounds small but having it written down and agreed on by all three of us changed something."
Four siblings coordinating a family estate
Ongoing Family Support Programme — March–June 2025
The challenge
Following the passing of their father, four adult siblings needed to coordinate decisions about a family property and a small family business. Two were based in Bangkok, one in Chiang Mai, one overseas. Time differences and old family dynamics made meetings fragmented and unproductive.
What Mendwell did
The Ongoing Family Support Programme provided facilitated monthly sessions over three months, a shared coordination log maintained by Mendwell, and written summaries after each session. Remote participants joined by video with the facilitator managing equal participation across formats.
What followed
By the end of the programme, the four siblings had reached coordinated positions on the property and the business — positions Mendwell facilitated but did not advise on. The coordination log and session summaries were handed over as a full record. The siblings chose to extend the programme for one additional month.
"The log was the thing. Having a running record everyone could see stopped the usual pattern of disputed memories."
